About Rainforest Youth Summit (RAYS) 2026

The Rainforest Youth Summit (“RAYS”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is the programme responsible for the planning and delivery of RAYS events and initiatives. Personal data collected in connection with RAYS is processed and administered by Memories Entertainment Sdn. Bhd. on behalf of RAYS, solely for purposes related to event delivery, programme administration, and participant engagement.

RAYS 2026 is organised in Malaysia and complies with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) of Malaysia, which governs the protection and lawful processing of personal data. Rainforest World Music Festival (RWMF)

IMPORTANT NOTE: Delegates may choose to opt in or opt out of the complimentary RWMF ticket through the registration system until 30 April 2026. Selections made after this date are final and cannot be changed.

 

The purchase of your Summit Pass includes the option to attend Day 1 of RWMF, taking place on 26 June 2026 from 2:00 PM to midnight.

2:00 PM - 5:00 PM: Workshops & Activities

6:00PM - midnight: Concert

Selecting this option means you will be attending the RWMF — your RWMF ticket will be issued on the final day of the summit, based on the response you provide here. Are you attending Day-1 RWMF?

Excursion Add-ons

As a delegate, you may choose to enhance your experience with our curated excursions — an opportunity to step outside the summit and explore the local flora and fauna of Sarawak.

These optional add-ons are available at exclusive rates offered only to delegates, with limited spots available.

 

IMPORTANT NOTE: Delegates may opt in for excursions through the registration system until 30 April 2026.

Once an excursion is selected and payment is processed, all payments are non-refundable.

Exception: Refund requests will be considered only if submitted in writing to support@rainforestyouthsummit.com.

(Summit Day-1) Jungle Night Walk @ Urban Forest

Just a 30-minute drive from the city takes you into an urban rainforest and nature reserve, where you’ll embark on a 60–90 minute guided night walk. As the forest comes alive after dark, get ready to spot nocturnal wildlife such as spiders, insects, snakes, birds, and small mammals in their natural habitat.

Capacity: minimum 4 pax to maximum 40 pax

Round-trip transportation is included - pickup and drop-off point will be informed soon

Semenggoh Wildlife Centre

Visit the Semenggoh Wildlife Centre to see semi-wild orangutans in their natural habitat. The centre rehabilitates orphaned and rescued orangutans, preparing them for release back into the wild. Over 20 orangutans roam the surrounding forest and often return to the feeding platform during feeding sessions, where visitors can observe them descend from the trees to feed.
